Service Description
CEC Sport After-School is a fun, inclusive multi-sport programme designed to help children develop confidence, teamwork, and movement skills in a safe and engaging environment. Each 6-week block introduces a variety of sports and games that focus on coordination, agility, balance, and ball skills — all delivered by qualified, Garda-vetted coaches on school grounds.

Cancellation Policy
1. Booking & Payment All bookings are made in blocks aligned with school terms. The programme costs €8 per hour per child. Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure a place. Each venue has a maximum of 24 spaces to maintain a 1:12 coach-to-participant ratio. 2. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made 7 or more days before the block start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable. Missed sessions by participants cannot be refunded or credited. In the event of poor weather or school closure, CEC Sport will either: Arrange an alternative indoor session where possible, or Reschedule a make-up session later in the term. If CEC Sport cancels a full block, a full refund will be issued. 3. Safeguarding & Behaviour All staff are Garda Vetted and Safeguarding certified. Children are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and peers. Parents/guardians will be contacted if behavioural issues arise; repeated incidents may result in removal from the programme without refund. 4. Participant Requirements Children should bring: Comfortable sportswear/ waterproof jacket suitable for indoor/outdoor use. A refillable water bottle and small snack. All medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs must be declared on the booking form. 5. Data Protection & Consent Personal data is collected for booking and emergency purposes only. Information is stored securely in line with GDPR requirements. Parents/guardians consent to emergency first aid being administered if necessary. 6. Photography & Media Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions to celebrate achievements and promote the programme. Consent for your child’s image to be used is optional and can be indicated on the booking form. 7. Liability While all reasonable care is taken during activities, CEC Sport is not liable for injuries arising from participation in sport-related activities where standard supervision and safety measures have been followed.
